The young Nigerian Pop Star was given the award at the recently held African Muzik Magazine Awards in Dallas, United States on July 26, 2014.
Davido beat the likes of Wizkid, Flavour, Ghana’s Sarkodie, SA’s Mafikizolo and Tanzania’s Diamond to emerge winner.
He also won the “Best West African Artiste” award.
