“{SHOCKING) Miley Cyrus Found Dead in Her Los Angeles Home! Country singer Miley Cyrus found overdosed this afternoon in her Los Angeles home,” the claim read, reports The Epoch Times.
Rest easy, Smilers, because Miley is alive and well. The shocking claim was a part of a new death hoax against the singer. The scam was designed to have readers click on the post so they could spread surveys to make money.
However, even though it was just a cruel death hoax, fans still totally freaked out about it.
Smilers do have a reason for their worry. Miley’s had some scary and mysterious medical issues over the past few months.
Besides the fact that Miley is a global phenomenon, maybe the recent behind her death hoax was that she was an easy target considering her mysterious recent hospital stay. Miley was hospitalized in April 2014 for a severe allergic reaction and sheer devastation over dead dog Floyd.
Couple that with the shocking rumor about her death — it’s easy to see why her fans were worried.
“What Miley is suffering from is much more than an allergic reaction to antibiotics,” a source close to the singer told us. “She’s really suffering from the death of Floyd. Floyd was her best friend. She feels like a part of her, a big part of her, has died.”
Well, almost three months exactly since her hospitalization, Miley has been the victim of a cruel death hoax. Let’s hope her Smilers are no longer freaking out.
